Also, until the upgrades/repairs to the boardwalk/trail are completed there isn't much reason for people to visit.

A lovely place to stop for a rest as you wander the Flooding Creek Track. Take a seat on the available bench and take in the peaceful surroundings. Even the wicked geocacher deserves rest.
Snakes are common along this track, so keep an eye out during warmer months. This is Australia, after all.
Flooding Creek Track follows the southern end of Flooding Creek. Flooding Creek runs through Sale beginning in the north west, with the mid-section diverted into the Thompson River to become the current Port of Sale. The southern section begins near Lake Guthridge and empties into the Latrobe River.
