Given co-ords are not for the cache. After working out the puzzle the cache should be a quick park and grab. If possible allow an extra hour to walk to the nearby church, the gate is just a few mtrs away from GZ. Please pay attention to notice board regarding footpath. The view over Narford lake is outstanding with lots of wildlife dependent on what time of year you visit.
A cache placed to mark the passing of rock legend Rick Parfitt. Along with Francis Rossi he was the founder member of rock group Status Quo, often refered to as the "twelve bar blues boys" It is well documented and admitted that he lived life to the full in true rock star style. He was reputed to consume copious ammounts of drugs and alcohol. Over the years he had several heart attacks and a quadruple heart by pass operation. Despite all this he was soon back to work every time. He composed many songs both on his own and with Francis Rossi and other composers. His friendship with Francis lasted over 50 years. He designed the first "facelift" for guitars where a sometimes lavish pattern was stuck over the body of the instrument. This was easily removed and changed as fashions changed. I do believe he holds a patent on this product. Francis described Rick as being" louder, faster and more carefree than any of us" It seems ironic that after all his heart problems the thing that killed him was a sepsis infection contracted while in a Spanish hospital while being treated for a shoulder injury. Having seen the"quo" live several times both at indoor and outdoor concerts I know how much they will be missed by millions of fans. RIP Rick.
