Kad išvengti gyvūnų patekimo į kelius ir avarijų sukėlimo dėl to, ko gero visi esate pastšebėję, kad pagrindiniai keliai miškingose vietose yra apjuosti apsauginėmis tvoromis, kurių įveikti gyvūnai dažniausiai negali.
Tačiau yra vienas didelis minusas šio apsaugos būdo. Stambūs gyvūnai nėra sėslūs, jie turi savo migracijas, kurios dažniausiai sutampa su rujos periodu. Šios tvoros riboja gyvūnų migracijos galimybes, dėl to kai kada gyvūnams tampa sunku susirasti partnerį.
Pradėjus statyti masiškai tvoras, buvo pastebėta, jog mažuose miškuose ėmė nykti stambiųjų gyvūnų populiacijos, paaiškėjo, jog prie to stipriai prisidėjo miškų izoliavimas tvoromis.
Todėl buvo nuspręsta, pagrindinėse gyvūnų migracijos vietose, po didžiaisiais mūsų keliais įrengti gyvūnų pralaidas, per kurias jie netrukdydami eismui, galėtu kirsti magristrales ir greitkelius.
Dažnai važiuodami keliu, net nepastebime šių įrengtų didelių konstrukcijų. Tad kviečiu užsukti į vieną iš jų apžiūrėti ją iš arčiau.
