Paglesham, another one of my favorite spots here and mostly because it contains two splendid little pubs. The Parish of Paglesham includes the two hamlets of East End and Church End, which are situated near the river Crouch and Paglesham creek. It is part of the Roach Valley Conservation Zone. Until recently there was a nice series of pubs caches here together with some great footpath walking. I hope to go someway into replacing some of these starting with this remote spot, a wee bit bleak in the winter, but excellent walking in the spring. The previous placement here was a cache that was a fav of mine some two years ago. The original East Hall sustained bomb damage during the 1939-45 War and was later demolished, but The Old Barn remains still in fair condition. You are looking for a small plastic container which contains a log book and scribbler, and some goodies, room for TB's and coins. Oh! and good luck to you.
Well done to $tu on the FTF.
