This cache is the second to celebrate our wedding, which was held at Saima Park on October 4, 2014. It will also commemorate Saima's Heikinpaiva Winter Fun Day on February 4, 2016. The cache is located on the trail just behind the function hall, which is the back building on the property. The trail is just to the right of the building. Many of our wedding photos were taken on this trail.
Thanks to the Friends of Saima Park for allowing the caches here. Please be respectful of the trails, which are used for running and hiking most of the year, but also for cross country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter.
Parking is available at the function hall, but the gate is often closed. You can park outside the gate and proceed to enter through the pedestrian opening. The function hall will not be the first building you see. It is about a 300-yard walk from the main gate, straight ahead.
