Cloudland Canyon State Park sits on Lookout Mountain in the NW corner of the state of Georgia.
There is a $10 daily entrance fee, unless you are a member of the Friends of Georgia State Parks!
ALL trails in Cloudland Canyon state park are open 7am to Dusk each day. Do NOT seek ANY caches in Cloudland Canyon State Park (CCSP) after dark !! The gates to the Five Points parking lot automatically close at dusk.
There are MANY trails in this area: a trail map of Five Points Recreation Area, which lists the trails by name, is highly recommended! It can be downloaded here:

Park at the Parking waypoint and set out on the Bankhead trail. You will encounter a trail junction almost immediately; take the right of the two.
At the point where multiple trails criss-cross, take the Windy Shot trail. This cache can also be reached on the Fuggett Lift trail from Durham Mine trails.
Cache is a classic ammo box, just a few feet off the narrow ridgeline trail.
Placed with permission of the park manager and park naturalist. Please take care to understand the basic rules of geocaching in order to help keep the game enjoyable for all who participate. Please do not move or vandalize the container. Replace the cache like or better than you found it (exactly where you found it).
Sign the log book and leave it in the cache. There is room in this cache for small trade items and travel bugs. If you want to take any of other items in the cache, they are there for trade; be sure to leave something of equal or greater value, but don't leave any kind of food items, or anything that is highly aromatic, which could attract critters/creatures/rodents/bugs.
Enjoy your visit at the park and remember to re-hide the cache like or better than you found it and practice, "Leave No Trace." While visiting any Georgia State Park, please obey all park rules and remain on the marked trails as you make your way to find the geocaches!
