Geocache Description:

This cache is one of the Crazyburn series of caches that will take you for a little trip to different places around Craigieburn.

There is a mixture of sizes - larger caches hidden in plain sight, smaller containers hidden in nooks and crannies, sneaky micros, and everything in between. There is a mixture of areas – parks, shopping centres, sports fields and even the big weird things that you see while you drive around, but never went and had a good look at. Some of the caches will be easy finds, while others will hopefully have you scratching your head for a while.

Some of the caches in this series contain a clue for the final, so make sure you write down any numbers that you happen across.

At GZ you will see two gum trees in close proximity. These two gum trees were planted in 2003 when I was in primary school, by my best friend and I. We had done a planting day with school, and there were some leftover plants. The students were offered a plant each, and so my friend and I took a gum tree each. For some reason, our parents didn’t want us to plant them in our small backyards, so we were left with two trees to plant.

On the way home, we found this spot. The council had done it’s own planting there recently, and so we decided to add our own touch. We are still good mates now, and though we don’t pass by here on our way home from school anymore, I walk past occasionally and get a lot of joy watching the tree continue to grow.

The cache is a bison tube camouflaged to fit into it’s surroundings. It is not on one of the gum trees – please be nice to my tree!
