This pioneer cemetery is 145 years old and being cared for by volunteers, there's no paid staff.
East Union is proud of it's 16 Civil War soldiers, a Custer scout and a Black Hawk War soldier along with over 470 veterans from WWI, WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. In addition the pioneer families who settled this area are resting here.
Tred lightly and respectfully and place the cache container in better shape than you found it in order to maintain it's integrity. The cemetery volunteers are aware of the cache placement.
