Geocache Description:

The headland of Clodgy Point lies just along the South West Coast Path from Porthmeaor Beach St Ives. Views are pretty magnificent on a sunny day and we're sure you'll enjoy your walk on less sunny weather. The path wends it's way towards the Headland of Clodgy Point. It is an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, managed by Natural England.

The cache can be found along a lane used as a farm track. Level and easy to access. The cache is not in a stone hedge. Views of St Ives Bay from here. It's higher ground, slightly so you get a wider view of the Bay.Many wildflowers grow along here and the Cornish Hedges are well established. Did you know that Cornish hedges, or banks, are some of the most ancient structures in the UK?

Permission for placing this cache has been given by Natural England and Cornwall Council.
