The headland of Clodgy Point lies just along the South West Coast Path from Porthmeaor Beach St Ives. Views are pretty magnificent on a sunny day and we're sure you'll enjoy your walk on less sunny weather. The path wends it's way towards the Headland of Clodgy Point. It is an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, managed by Natural England.
As you turn towards the headland you will pass some ruins. Not terrible old but typical of old buildings in the West Penwith area. If you are a photographer then you might enjoy the old industrial feel of the area.
At this point the path becomes a footpath, see photo, and this can become slippery on a wet day and muddy. The footpath is well posted. Those cachers wishing to find and log the Trig Point... it's between this cache and the next.

Permission has been given to place this cache by Natural England and Cornwall Council.
