The headland of Clodgy Point lies just along the South West Coast Path from Porthmeaor Beach St Ives. Views are pretty magnificent on a sunny day and we're sure you'll enjoy your walk on less sunny weather.
The path from St Ives to this cache is tarmac. If done in sequence, the path continues towards the rocks bordering Porthmeor beach. If walking in reverse order the path wends it's way towards the Headland of Clodgy Point. There are a number of steps to negotiate on the way. It is an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, managed by Natural England.
King of the Castle? You'll not want to be looking for this in a high wind leave alone climbing to the top for a photo. Take care. It's a long way down!
Views across the bay of Porthmeor beach and St Ives. Also towards Clodgy Point where there was once a Leper colony. No evidence remains now, or at least we haven't discovered any.
