iving in the smallest state in the country is a source of pride for many Rhode Islanders. However few people know that Rhode Island is actually much larger than a number of entire nations. This cache is the first in a series representing the world's ten smallest countries, all of which are significantly smaller than the Ocean State. These puzzle caches aren't designed to be the most difficult, but hopefully you'll learn something about each country along the way. In most cases, the information provided at the beginning of each cache page will not be particularly helpful in solving the puzzle.
Grenada

Grenada, the 10th smallest nation in the world at 349 km2, is a small nation in the Caribbean Sea consisting of one large island, and six smaller islands. First settled by the Kalinago, or Carib, people of the Lesser Antilles, the island of Grenada remained largely untouched by European powers until it was visited by Christopher Columbus in 1498. Columbus named the island 'Concepcion', but the resistance of the Carib people to European settlement kept foreign powers at bay until 1674, when the French conquered the native Kalinago people. The French established the island as a major producer of sugar, and, having wiped out the indigenous people, brought in thousands of slaves from Africa to work the fields. In 1763, the British took control of the island, and introduced a variety of new crops, such as cotton and cacao. Grenada finally gained independence from British control in 1974, and endured a decade of coups, ended only by the intervention of the United States government.
Today Grenada is one of several Caribbean nations which has built a thriving economy based largely on tourism. Also known as The Spice of the Caribbean (due to the large number of nutmeg farms present), the nation's main exports include bananas and cacao. The island boasts pristine beaches, numerous natural waterfalls, and various historical sites. Grenada also benefits from eco-tourism, due to its two main national parks, Grand Etang and Levera, and mountainous terrain.

This cache is located near an overgrown historical cemetery (which I wasn't able to find, but maybe you'll have more luck), established in 1856. There is quite a bit of litter here, so CITO is definitely encouraged.
