Up on the track doing some maintenance, and something caught my eye as awesome! - a mature case of phototropism.
Tracks: DoC rates the track from the Dome end as “experienced,” - ther are some near vertical climbs and tramping boots are highly recommend.
Parking: Dome car park or Govan Wilson Road
Timing: Day time, the track crosses private land and the track is pretty gnarly in places
Cache: small, halve a meter from track, two brothers frame the track, one is unusual. approx 6m from orange marker punga
