The cache difficulty and terrain are not based on the actual cache but on the challenge to qualify for this cache.The actual cache should be an easy park and grab.
You may sign the log at any time, but cannot claim the smiley until you have qualified for the challenge.
In the last year or so we have gotten more interested in the oldest cache of each state. As we traveled through them we would try to find the oldest cache, if it was near our route. To date we have found 12 of these.
To qualify you must find the oldest cache in 5 different sates or provinces.
