Geocache Description:

Should be an interesting location.

Fortune Line Road, Summers Road, Turk Rock Road and Old Briar Hill Road all meet in the area that is known as Briar Hill.

This cache is at the junction of Turk Rock Road and Fortune Line Road. There  is a legend about the Rock where you are now standing.

The legend as follows:

In the early settlement days (1800's) travelling Gypsies (of Turkish origin ?) would set up a camp on the slope leading up to the rock. Then, from the top of the rock they would sell their wares to passing families.

Try to imagine the scene and wonder about times past.
