This is an odd, though pleasant stretch of trail sandwiched between a quiet residential neighborhood, a creek and a busy highway nearby. There are stairs on one end but on the other just a bit of a hillside scramble. Park at the trailhead (look for stairs) along Orion Drive for the best approach. No need to get into or cross the stream unless you really want to. And bring a pen.
