The old Botti farm, also known as the Farm On Bush Hill Road, was purchased by the Manchester Land Conservation Trust. There are 57 acres along Bush Hill Road in Manchester and five acres over the town’s southern boarder in Glastonbury. The Botti family farmed the land around 1912 and had apple, peach and cherry orchards as well as blueberry patches and a variety of vegetables.
The land trust has blazed several trails across the property, including a 2-mile loop trail marked with white blazes. The geocaches are located along this 2-mile loop. The property is at 330 Bush Hill road. Parking is in front of an old weathered barn with a sign that reads “Cider Mill”. www.manchesterlandtrust.org for more information.
