Panhandling Traditional Geocache

Geocaching is for people with varying degrees of ability.  If at any time you feel that this is too dangerous please do not try this cache.  Not too difficult but many loose rocks around.  You are responsible for your own safety.

Panhandle:

1. :  a narrow projection of a larger territory (as a state) <the Oklahoma Panhandle>

2. :  to stop people on the street and ask for food or money.

   The definition of panhandle has nothing to do with this cache, it's for information purposes only.  We visited the Florida Panhandle and the Oklahoma Panhandle last year while geocaching.  This too has nothing to do with this cache.  This cache has said name because it was placed on Panhandle Road, in a road cutout, we found while riding the back roads.  We have always heard that before the interstate system came about this was the fastest way between Manchester and Wartrace/Bell Buckle.  We still use this road from time to time to see the backcountry while going home.  Little traffic on this road but they usually drive fairly fast so be careful.  Plenty of parking on the opposite side of the road.
