Sprout, who is 1/3 of the nalceloc team won this stamp and inkpad at an event, so of course we had to add it to a cache. Letterbox hybrids are a fun type of geocache that is combined with letterboxing, another type of treasure hunting that uses clues instead of coordinates. In some cases, like this one, the letterbox owner makes their container both letterbox and a geocache, and posts its coordinates on geocaching.com. These types of geocaches contain a stamp that is meant to remain in the cache and is used by cachers and letterboxers to record their visit.
This is a regular sized cache with plenty of swag for trade, and room for trackables.
The cache is located at the county agri-civic center, which is open to the public year round. You may enter from either State Road 70, or 710, depending on which gates are open. At the time of this hide, only Hwy 710 is open due to construction on SR 70. There are times when the center is being used for a special event, like the county fair, high school graduation, and charity events, and may be very high in muggle activity. In some cases, there may even be a fee to enter the grounds. We suggest you avoid these times.
As always, please be courteous and zip the baggies and close the lid tight, and replace everything back where you found it. Thanks and happy caching.
