This is the fifth of five caches I've placed at Morgan Run, in hopes that you'll have a nice long walk and pick up all five in one visit. From parking it's only about a half a mile to this cache, but if you continue on to the other four, you'll probably walk about five miles, which will take more than an hour, but less than two. You could also make a full day of caching here, for there are some great hides at Morgan Run, including Zekester & Simon's Little Library, Vizardo's Betula Lenta, deepdish23's Tick & Trackable Bed & Breakfast, Honey Badger Should've Cared, and CAM 2014-Morgan Run NEA, and tombearr's Follow Me (a Whereigo). The park is open dawn to dusk; there are gates that could be locked, so don't push your luck. As of 02/21/24 the hide is 20 yards off the trail and easily accessed at a steel stake at the ede of the trail (N 39 28.357 W 76 59.425). Follow the opening in the forest here and pick your way through sparse understory to the large green pill bottle ziptied to a small tree at about waist height. In fact, if you look hard, you can see (in winter) the pill bottle's splotch of green while you stand at the steel stake. No need to belabor that, however; just step into the clearing, probably moving a little to your left and then, about 20 yards in, move hard right: you should be able to see the cache easily, given its color and size. Enjoy your walk! In warmer weather, you'll want to protect yourself against ticks, of course.
