Geocache Description:

Don't Be Bamboozled

This cache is not accessible from Rt. 202.  Use Stadium Road (Tigue Rd on some maps) and park in spaces provided.

You could have guessed that the CO plays the oboe. An oboe uses reeds made from bamboo. Not exactly this kind of bamboo, but that's what we have here in this area. Oboegary likes the bamboo harvested in France, but there is also good oboe bamboo that comes from the Southwestern states of the US. It must have the be split, have the bark removed, be shaped, folded, carved and tied on before it is used by an oboist to make beautiful music. A well made oboe reed only lasts for a few performances, so oboists become adept at making and adjusting reeds using small and very sharp knives.

The container is a prescription bottle.
