An popular German song from the early 60's says "Es gibt kein Bier auf Hawaii / There is no Beer on Hawaii" (here you can hear the complete song). Waldkauz1977 and CachingFoX, two geocachers from Germany, have a mission: They want to find out tells the song the truth or is it a big lei!. ;-)
We think a good place to verify this "fact", will be the Waikiki Brewing Company. We want to meet some local cacher or cacher in vacation. Talk about Geocaching around the world and trade-off or discover trackables. Or we answering your questions about the strength song - we can give you some translation and explanation, if you want.
Join us to have a drink and something to eat. We will be happy if many people attend our event.
Who we are and what we doing?
We are, Waldkauz1977 and CachingFoX, two geocacher from the "other side" of the globe. We are on vacation, discover the nature, culture and feeling of Hawaii - and find some treasures.
Where we come from?
We life nearby Nuremberg in Franconia/Bavaria in the south of Germany; 8000mi far way from Honolulu.
Franconia – Where Beer is at Home – is well known for it versatile beer culture. With over 300 breweries, Franconia has the highest concentration of breweries in Germany and in the world. But Franconia not only has more breweries per square kilometers than any other region in Europe, there is also an incredible variety of brands, flavors, and types of beer – some of which are truly unique. But we love to discover new "exotic" beers from outside of Franconia.
