"Beitou Rice Barn(北投穀倉)" was a historical building built at 1938 by japanese people. It was used for rice storage at Beitou area. People gathered here for rice trade. With time goes by, the rice barns in Taipei lost its function after the changing of society. Most rice barns were removed. Only Beitou rice barn was kept. It had became declared monument of Taipei City at 1990. The historical building has transformed and revived into coffee shop at 2012. People gathered at "Beitou Rice Barn" again! Not for rice trade but for coffee this time.
北投穀倉建於日據時期1938年，儲藏北投關渡地區的稻米收穫，當時人們聚集於此地進行米糧交易，戰後轉型為北投農會繼續經營，隨著社會型態逐漸改變，多數台北地區的穀倉失去功用均遭到拆除，僅剩北投穀倉保留下來。因其歷史意義與價值終於1990年被指定為市定古蹟，直到2012年才由一群北投地區愛好臺灣土地的人們經手轉型重生為咖啡店，現在人們再次聚集於北投穀倉，只是不再為了米糧交易而前來此處，老建築因此舉有了新生命。
