The National Barn Dance was a radio program started fairly early in the 20th century. The show ran on WLS out of Chicago. WLS stood for "World's Largest Store," and was a nickname of the retail and mail-order giant that also owned the radio station for a time. This company had a store nearby the final location of this cache. Much of the company's business at that time came from farmers and ranchers, and the music of the National Barn Dance program reflected tastes from rural America. To find the final location, you'll need to do a little math. Take the year that the show premiered and subtract 1,044 to find the North coordinate: N 41 0.XXX. Take the year that the broadcast ended and subtract 1,250 to get the West coordinate: W 80 23.YYY. Good luck!
