The City of Kingston is extending the K&P Trail all the way downtown, planned to be finished in 2017.
The uploaded picture shows the planned route. The red line shows the off-road portion if I'm reading it right; the rest will be on-road sidewalks (maybe unsuitable for geocaches).
The trail currently ends in the industrial area near Binnington Court (top left on the map). There's a large sign there showing the trail route, and a parking area specifically for K&P hikers.
And now there's also a cache. Stay tuned for more once the off-road trails are finished
