A Fine Pair # 771 ~ Sutton Weaver
How Geocaching Works
Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer
Number 771 in a series of caches where a red telephone box is in close proximity to a post box.
The only rules are that they have to be able to be photographed together, be not more than 100’ apart and the phone boxes have to be red.
The cache is located a short distance from Sutton Weaver's fine pair at N53 18.a(b+c)d, W002 40.e(f-g)h, where:
a = how many rungs on the telegraph pole?
b = how many leaves at one end of the bench?
c = what's the number on the disc on the telegraph pole?
d = how many red squares on the yellow box?
e = how many letters in the fourth word on the noticeboard?
f = how many letters in the word at top of the phone box?
g = on the sign in front of the tree, how many letters in the first word of the third line?
h = what's the hour of the last collection time from this post box on a Friday?
Note: If your calculated coordinates put you on the railway line then you're wrong! I reckon it'll be answer b that you need to revisit.
The Fine Pair series was originally started by wizardsmum but is now managed by mattd2k
If anybody would like to place 'A Fine Pair' of their own please do. I would just ask that you first visit www.afinepair.co.uk to request a number to avoid any duplication
mattd2k also keeps a public Bookmark List of this series. Once your cache is published please contact him via firstname.lastname@example.org to have yours added
