It's almost summer time and that means some of us have summer vacations planned. With any good vacation, there will also be some good geocaching. You'll be traveling to different states, countries, landmarks, events, geocaches, and all the places that Travel Bugs WANT to go!
As much as we would like to travel to all those cool places of all the travel bugs we encounter and accomplish their goals...we simply just can't do it alone.
Please bring your inventory of Travel Bugs to the brewery where we can tag and sort them for where they want to go. I plan to have bins labeled with different regions, states, countries so every Travel Bug can hitch a ride with the right person! If you have a trip planned to Europe, pick up bugs that want to go to Europe. If you have a trip planned to GeoWoodstock, pick up bugs that want to go to GeoWoodstock. etc.
At some point in the last half hour of the event, I will raffle off a GCCO 2017 Gold Coin to one lucky geocacher. You can only win the Gold and this coin can not be purchased elsewhere. You MUST be present to win this prize.
Also, I am planning to pick up an extra GeoWoodstock Event Geocoin while I'm on my vacation to North Carolina. You DO NOT need to be present to win this one but just as long as you attend this event and drop your name in the pot, you will be eligible to receive this prize. I will contact you upon my return from GWXV to give you the coin.
