Yungaburra (formerly known as Allumbah Pocket), is a sleepy little town, who's main industry can easily be said to be tourist accommodation. With at least 40 different options to choose from in town and dozens more in the surrounding area, there will always be somewhere to lay your head here. But before you get there, admire the view of the town from this elevated vantage point & grab a quick cache on the way!
There is room to park at the turn off but please take care when entering this side road from the highway, especially when arriving from Cairns. The cache is BYOP & there's no room for swaps, but there is a small prize for the FTF. Stealth is definitely required and please keep a close eye on kids this close to the highway.
