You can swim for it if you'd like. I probably wouldn't, but you might be that kind of person.
Before you start down a path, go down to the river. Look for Mr. No-Shoulders. If you don't see Mr. No-Shoulders sunning himself along the river, he's probably in the woods -- where you're going.
This is a Library Cache. Bring a book to swap. The books in the cache now are in appropriately-sized ziplock bags. I put a couple of extra bags in the box. Most of the initial books are registered at Bookcrossing.com.
The container is a 50-cal ammo can, so the unabridged version of "War and Peace" might be a little much.
There is heavy undergrowth along the way to this cache. I saw signs of coyote, deer & racoon along the way. I didn't see Mr. No-Shoulders, but I felt him watching me every step of the way.
If the river is out of its banks, come back another day.
