On April 19, 1995, at 9:02 a.m., an unprecedented act of terrorism struck the heartland of America. In the attack, 168 men, women, and children lost their lives. A memorial honoring those victims now stands at the site.
To log this cache, visit the memorial and proceed to the statue located across the street, using the posted coordinates. As proof of your visit, post a photograph of the statue that includes either your GPS device or a clearly identifiable personal item.
Standard virtual cache logging guidelines apply: no previously taken vacation photos, no internet images, and only one find log per person.
If posting a photograph is not practical, or if you prefer not to share one publicly, you may instead send me the answer to the following question via e-mail or message as verification of your visit:
On the east end of the wall surrounding the statue, there is a plaque. From that plaque, what are the first five words of the final paragraph immediately above the signature?
Please send your verification before posting your find log.
