Just outside the entrance to Lake Mooney you will find a most wonderful landmark. Lovingly known as "Big Rock"; you can stop by and find a small lock n lock at this location before venturing into the park!
You can be able to find parking down in front on a gravel pulloff, which is part of the cul-de-sac.
Take the direct route up for a steep climb, or make your way to the back side of the rock for an easier slope.
