[MOB Cache] Milano Social Mystery Cache

Questa è una Mob Cache, un nuovo tipo di cache dove, per ottenere le coordinate finali, è necessario che un certo numero di persone si ritrovi in un determinato waypoint e si connetta contemporaneamente a un sito dove, una volta che sarà rilevato il giusto numero di persone, compariranno le coordinate finali.

 

 Visto che non ci piace fare le cose semplici, le coordinate del listing non sono anche quelle del waypoint. Tuttavia, il waypoint è nelle vicinanze, in una piazza molto famosa dove solitamente i ragazzi, specialmente nelle sere più calde, si ritrovano per bere qualcosa, chiacchierare e passare un po’ di tempo in compagnia. Se siete di Milano avrete già capito, altrimenti, vi posso dare un aiutino: cercate la statua qui sotto, perché il waypoint punta proprio lì! Inoltre, sul basamento della statua troverete incise alcune lettere che indicano chi è raffigurato nella statua stessa. Se le contate, otterrete il numero AB, vi servirà per dopo.

 

Come vi dicevo, a noi non piacciono le cose semplici, quindi, per attivare il sito dovrete collegarvi in 10! È vero, 10 persone sono tante, ma non a caso questa cache è una D5! E poi ricordate che non tutte le persone devono essere geocacher: potete coinvolgere i vostri amici con la scusa di passare una serata diversa oppure, se siete coraggiosi e molto social, potete provare a coinvolgere qualcuna delle persone che sicuramente saranno presenti nella piazza! Oppure se volete barare, vi basta avere il numero esatto di dispositivi connessi a internet, infatti il sito rileva quelli, non le persone fisicamente presenti… ma non dite a nessuno che ve l’ho detto!

 

Per prima cosa controllate che tutti i vostri dispositivi abbiano la geolocalizzazione attivata e siano connessi a internet. Dopodiché, collegatevi tutti al sito https://www.geotrailsw.com/mob/ : in basso vi si chiederà di scrivere un codice di 4 cifre. Ricordate il numero AB? Ecco, il codice da inserire è (AB+12)(AB+80). Una volta che avrete fatto questo su tutti i dispositivi, dovrete solo aspettare che il sito rilevi la presenza di tutti quanti: state vicini alla statua, anche se ho messo un raggio molto ampio, la geolocalizzazione può sempre avere un po’ di metri di scarto, specialmente se si è in tanti.

 

Se avete fatto tutto correttamente il sito vi avrà immediatamente comunicato le coordinate finali! Non vi resta che andare a prendere la cache!

Since we don’t like easy things, listed coordinates are not the one where you have to meet! The waypoint is very close, in a famous square where young people are used to meet, especially in the hot seasons, to have a drink, chat and spend a good night with friends. If you are informed about Milan nightlife, you probably have already understood; if not, I’ll give you a small hint: look for the statue in the picture below, the waypoint is right there! On the statue base, there are carved some letters (the name of the one who is represented). The number of letters is AB, it will be useful later.

 

As I was telling you, we don’t like easy things so, to activate the website, you must connect in 10 people! I know, 10 people is very much, but this is a D5 cache! And remember that not everyone has to be a geocacher: you can bring your friends to help you or, if you are brave and very social, you can try to ask for help to some stranger who’s there in the square! Or, if you want to cheat, you can just have the right amount of devices connected to internet: the website registers those and not the people physically there… but don’t say anyone I told you this!

 

First, check that all of your devices are connected to internet and have geolocalization activated. Then, everyone must connect to the website https://www.geotrailsw.com/mob/ : at the bottom of the page, it will ask you a 4-digit code. Remember the number AB? The code to insert is (AB+12)(AB+80). Once you have done it, you just have to wait the website to register the presence of everyone: stay close to the statue, I put a wide radius, but geolocalization always as an error of some meters, especially when there is a lot of people.

 

 If you did everything correctly, the website should have shown you the final coordinates! Now you just have to search the cache!
