PLEASE BE AWARE THE HOMELESS CAN SOMETIMES LEAVE UNDESIRABLE ITEMS HERE. CLOSED TOE SHOES AND EVEN GLOVES MAY BE ADVISED
At Ground Zero you will find an interesting feature. Was it part of the brewery here to heat the mash or just a furness for the building. You decide. Either way it makes for a great hiding spot for a geocache. It may be a little tricky but there will be eyes watching you so please keep the noise down and act like a curious tourist and not someone shady who may be a threat to the neighbouring properties. I'm sure they get their share of riff raff down here.
We didn't find any needles here but there were some nearby along with a busted open safe, credit cards etc so don't leave valuables on the front seat of your vehicle.
Taylor and Bate started their brewery here but after the Bridge went up, this area was cleared out and the brewery moved to 75 St Paul St above and then eventually closed in 1936.
