While at this cache, you will have full view of a beautiful property. Not only are you looking at a historic home that is very special to our area, but also a beautiful place where you will find some of the kindest people, ever. I have spent many hours at the home that you see and always wished that I could go back in time and actually witness what it looked like in the 1800's. My imagination ran wild each time I was here. I wonder what the surrounding land looked like when it was a plantation. Before the park and the dam and even the paved roads. I wonder what the view looked like on that front porch before the strip mall and interstate were built. I wonder what kind of people the Prestons were. After all, my home sits on what used to be part of their plantation. What do you see? The cache is small, so you will need to BYOP. And this may be super easy for some and harder for others.
