Closing the Book on Winter is located on a high ridge along a West Bragg Trail. Travel to the cache involves the gain of significant elevation and distance - approximately fifteen kilometres round trip from the West Bragg Creek parking area. Care and attention are necessary at all times on this hike due steep trail conditions, loose rocks, exposed tree roots, and the relatively remote cache location.

Closing the Book on Winter is a red floatable key holder type container with the usual cache note, log and pencil. The cache was placed to mark what we believe would be a fine view point on a clear day and to encourage cachers to check out this newer Bragg Creek Trail.
