Geocache Description:

This is for those persons that cannot comprehend the D/T rating system or absolutely positively MUST know what/where the cache is without doing any real searching, so take this for what it is: you will be searching for a FADED GREEN BISON TUBE LOOKING-ITEM HIDDEN INSIDE A HOLLOW PIPE ONTOP OF THE FENCE. For whatever reason, visitors think that they have the RIGHT to re-position someone else's geocache hide as THEY see fit. 3rd visit to this site in 6 months and found container hidden 3 different ways other than the intended way. There is a REASON for the D/T ratings!! Should NOT have to say this, but PLEASE put that CONTAINER back inside that HOLLOW PIPE - it is to help PROTECT the container and log from the elements. THANK YOU!!

There used to be a cache hidden in this cemetery years ago, but was archived for whatever reason.

Been wanting to place a cache here for sometime, if for no other reason than to keep my other nearby cemetery cache company. After being in the area on a recent maintenance check, decided to finally stop by and place a cache. Not really many places to hide something, but found a likely spot for the time being.

When visiting this cemetery, take the time to explore the area. Then, if you have not already found my other cache roughly a mile north of this spot, go and visit that site as well. Even if you already have that cache found, pay a visit anyway. Main reason: compare the types of headstones in each cemetery. This cemetery will have mostly normal type of headstones while the other cemetery will have quite a few headstones made out of CONCRETE & the inscriptions will be drawn in. Thought that was interesting.

Anyway, in order to get to this cemetery from the north, travel east out of the town of Council Grove, KS, or west into town on US HWY 56. Turn where the directional sign for Dunlap, Ks, tells you to turn at 5th Street. When you get to the intersection with 5th Street, turn south and follow that road southeast out of town. Eventually this road will become Dunlap Road. Travel roughly 9 miles until you come to the tiny town of Dunlap, KS. All roads in Dunlap, KS, are dirt/gravel and the roads to cache location are well maintained gravel - plenty of dust!! When Dunlap Road intersects with 4th Street, turn east and follow road until it intersects with Broadway Street. Turn north and travel until you reach the intersection with AA Road/1st Street. Turn east until you reach the intersection with A Road. This cemetery will be at the southwest corner of intersection. My other cemetery will be roughly 1 mile north on A Road.

Cache container that you will be searching for is something about the size of an adult human's thumb. Should be a relatively quick enough find - or will it?!?!?!

This is a cemetery so please observe any/all rules/regulations that may be posted and that we have all read before on other page write-ups concerning these types of locations.
