Where: Oban Bothy (not near Oban!), but note, if it's full you'll still need to sleep somewhere, so please bring a tent as well as appropriate clothing and equipment for the location. It's a long way from anywhere, and you attend this geocaching meet at your own risk!
When: Wednesday the 7th of June 2017, 9pm-9.30pm. Join me with sandwiches or hot soup (BYOS) to watch the sun set over this remote location.
Who: Brave geocachers from far and wide. New to caching or cache events? This might not be an ideal one for you, but if you make it here alive, you'll be made very welcome!
How: By boat - there is a landing point close by - or a long walk across the hills. I may park at the west end of Loch Arkaig (see Waypoint) and hike in from there. Please let me know your plans in your Will Attend log, as a walking companion or three would be welcome.
What: A classic caching gathering to discuss caching, cachers and caches, swap travel items, fight midges (a head net may be a must here) and enjoy some of the wildest country in the UK.
Why: I am a sucker for punishment! There's a cache 'close by' I've had my eye on for some years too...
