You can walk to this from Roman Coins and Roman Remains, with the parking as per those 2 caches. If you want to drive a little closer to the cache then there is space for a few cars to park here: N51 21.493 W1 06.237.
This cache is (Well) hidden on the course of the Roman Road connecting Calleva Atrebatum (Silchester) to Corinium (Cirencester). It crosses a plantation and is no longer used as a road or path - as will be obvious when you get there. The only hints that show anything was there are a straight banks and the indication on Ordnance Survey Explorer Map 159. You are looking for a green Ammo Box full of a variety of goodies. If it has been raining Welly Boots may be a good idea as it may get muddy. Please be careful how you move about the woods locating this one as if you trample too many ferns you may make an obvious path to the cache.
For those who would like to know more there's a fact sheet in the cache which explains all about Roman Roads. Please don’t take it.
