< The cache at "Shimizuguchi" stop >
It is said there used to be a famous spring in the north of this area. "Shimizu" means pure spring water. Therefore this place has been called "Shimizuguchi," that literally means "Shimizu-side Entrance of Nagoya Castle." (The castle is located near the City Hall(#3).)
The cache is hidden in the west of "Shimizuguchi" intersection.
It contains only a log sheet. Bring a pen with you.

＜「清水口」のキャッシュについて＞
このエリアの北の方に、かつて「亀尾の清水」という、名古屋三名水に数えられた名泉があったのだそうです。市街の北方、木曽街道から名古屋城下に入るための交通の要衝でもあったことから、清水があったとされる場所から南へ坂を上りきったあたりのこの地区は「清水口」と呼ばれるようになりました。
