Shirakabe literally means white wall. In the Edo period, the samurais living in this district built white walls around their residences. This has been believed as the orijin of the name of the place.
The cache is hidden in the west of "Shirakabe" intersection.
It contains only a log sheet. Bring a pen with you.

＜「白壁」のキャッシュについて＞
このエリアには、江戸時代に禄高にして三百石級の組頭階級の武家屋敷が多く立ち並んでいました、中でも豊田太郎左衛門の武家屋敷は当時としては珍しい白塗りで、これが見事であったためその後周囲の屋敷もこれを真似て白壁の屋敷が多くなったことから、これが地名になったとされています。
