NB: The name of this cache had to change (Nov 2020) as the nearby sign to which the original name alluded has been replaced! It is one of three caches we placed in this large area of beautiful unspoilt land, initially for our geocaching-mad daughter to find her on her birthday, and now staying here for many others to enjoy. A regular small plastic clip-box containing several little toys, log book and pencil. Be aware that there are sometimes fishermen in close proximity to this cache. It is near to the 'beach' area (which is great for paddling/swimming in good weather) but the exact location of the cache is away from the beach, at a quieter spot where you cannot bathe. No need to move any logs to find it. Additional advice: Dogs are allowed but not on the beach itself. Park at Car Park N51° 09.486 W 000° 47.697 (National Trust membership card will give you free parking). Snack Bar is very well equipped and there are also well kept public toilets and a mini visitors' centre, great for kids.
