Where: As far north in England as the tide and weather will allow.
When: Monday June 19th 2017, from 1-1.30pm.
Who: Cachers. Beyond that I'm not fussy. New to caching or cache meets? You'll be made especially welcome.
Why: I've held England's most westerly (2012), most southerly (2008), most easterly (2011), and mainland's most southerly (2012) cache meets in the past*, and as I'll be in the area, heading south from holidays in Scotia, this seems a sensible spot to stop to finish (tbc) my collection.
What: A classic geo-gathering to discuss cachers, caching and caches, swap travel items and enjoy the surroundings while eating a picnic lunch. I think it'd be nice to build a cairn to mark the spot too, if one doesn't already exist here.
How: Access by footpath. The north looks easier for a track down onto the foreshore. Please park with care!
*Plus Britain/UK/Scotland's most northerly (2009), most westerly (2007), Scotland's most southerly (2015), mainland Britain's most westerly (2013) and 'other' most westerly (2017) , mainland Britain's most northerly (2017) and Britain's most southerly (2010) - sort of twice: (2010). I'm running out of ideas. Suggestions welcome!
