HR: Godine 1873 otvorena je pruga Rijeka - Karlovac duga 176,2 km. Nakon Škrljeva to je zadnja željeznička stanica prije nego vlak skrene prema unutrašnjosti tj do Plasa. A preko puta željezničke stanice mote se nači stari bunker/garnizon. Sa obje strane u pravcu pruge su visoke kule sa puškarnicama, a između prostor za posadu.
