A Knarl looks very much like a hedgehog . It's behaviour is quite different though - if a plate of food is left out in the garden for it , it will assume that it is being trapped and savage the garden plants and ornaments . Many a muggle child has been accused of vandalism when indeed it was a Knarls work . ( Bring a pencil and tweezers for this log)
An offshoot of my Harry Potter series nearby , this circular trail is based on 'Fantastic beasts ( and where to find them )' by JKRowling. The trail is approximately 8k long from the car park and is on mostly very good paths . Although suitable for buggies , bikes and horses , it is steep in parts and finding some of the caches will require some off-road scrambling . Wear suitable footwear as it can be wet in places .
