Geocache Description:

9 Usual Suspects invite you to join them in their 'early' Summer Solstice Celebratings at Snowdon summit from 1pm to 2pm on the afternoon of Saturday 17th June 2017.

Mae'r 9 Usual Suspects yn eich gwahodd chi i ymuno a nhw ar gyfer hirddydd haf cynnar ar gopa'r wyddfa rhwng 1 a 2 ar brynhawn ddydd Sadwrn 17eg o Fehefin 2017.

Snowdon is the highest mountain in Wales at 1,085 metres (3,560ft) above sea level, and is the highest point in the UK south of the Scottish Highlands. It has been described as 'probably the busiest mountain in Britain', with approximately 444,000 people walking up the mountain in 2016. It is designated as a national nature reserve for its rare flora and fauna. The rocks that form Snowdon were produced by volcanoes in the Ordovician period, and the massif has been extensively sculpted by glaciation forming the pyramidal peak of Snowdon. The cliff faces on Snowdon were used by Edmund Hilary in training for the 1953 ascent of Mount Everest.

The summit can be reached by a number of well-known paths and by the Snowdon Mountain Railway. The summit has a cafe, Hafod Eryri, but is only open when the train service is operating.

If the weather is good we will meet on the steps in front of the cafe, in the advent of bad weather we will be in the cafe. There will be a log book available for those that wish to sign.

Yr Wyddfa yw mynydd uchaf Cymru yn sefyll 1,085 metr (3,560ft) uwchben lefel y môr. Wyddfa ydy'r pwynt uchaf ym Mhrydain yn is nag Ucheldir yr Alban. Mae o yn cael ei ddisgrifio fel y mynydd prysuraf ym Mhrydain gydag amcangyfrif 444,000 o bobl wedi'u gerdded yn 2016. Mae wedi cael ei ddynodi fel gwarchodfa natur genedlaethol am ei fflora a ffawna prin. Mae'r creigiau sy'n ffurfio'r Wyddfa wedi cael eu cynhyrchu gan losgfynyddoedd yn y cyfnod Ordofigaidd, a massif wedi'i gerflunio'n helaeth gan rewlifiant gan ffurfio brig pyramidaidd y Wyddfa. Cafodd gwynebau'r clogwyni ar yr Wyddfa eu defnyddio gan Edmund Hilary fel hyfforddiant ar gyfer ddringo Everest yn 1953 . </ P>

Gall y copa gael ei gyrraedd trwy nifer o lwybrau adnabyddus a gan Reilffordd yr Wyddfa. Mae gan y copa gaffi, Hafod Eryri, ond mae dim ond ar agor pan mae'r gwasanaeth trên yn weithredol. </ p>

Os yw'r tywydd yn dda, byddwn yn cwrdd ar y grisiau o flaen y caffi, os bydd y tywydd yn wael byddwn yn y caffi. Bydd llyfr log ar gael i'r rhai sy'n dymuno llofnodi. </ P>
