The Verterans park ball fields are the baseball hub for the area, so if you visit during summer evenings you will have plenty of company. Otherwise this is a nice park to take a stroll and enjoy. When placing the cache there were two bald eagles hunting in the woodlands around the ball field. Enjoy.
