The Town Center Plaza, located north of Tinker Air Force Base is a premier feather in Midwest City's hat. The downtown redevelopment project began in 1998, and continues today. It encompasses approximately 83 acres and originally contained dilapidated residential and commercial structures which were cleared to make room for new retail and restaurant businesses.
