What is Bowen famous for? This is an easy stop off along the Bruce highway just south of Bowen. There is a decent view across the bay to the town of Bowen. You will also find a great visitor information centre here with very helpful staff. If you need to find out what is worth looking at in Bowen or you need to book some accomodation anywhere in the Whitsundays, this is the place to be.
Strongly suggest you take the time to drive into Bowen and visit some of the best beaches in North Queensland. I suggest grabbing some fish and chips and heading to Horseshoe Bay.
