The Barnwell Brothers Frank and Harold made aviation history.

Here in 1911 flying from Causewayhead to Bridge of Allan this won them a small prize.

During World War 1 Frank worked for Vickers as a test pilot and was sadly killed in 1917 . Testing the Vampire.

Harold went to work for the Bristol aviation company and worked on designs like the Bristol F2 fighter and then later Bristol Blenheim.

Harold was also sadly killed in a flying accident whilst testing one of his own aircraft in 1938.

The cache is an nano.
