Emily's Aqua Adventure Traditional Cache

At this location you will find Xemxija Aquaduct. You will need to bring with you approximately 500ml of water however if you have an empty bottle the sea is not so far away! 

Xemxija Aquaduct has been in this location since at least 1839 during the british occupation of the area however it could even date much further back to the Knights of St John. Its purpose was to collect spring water flowing through the area and divert it towards a resevoir so that it could be utilised both by military personnel but also their horses while they were on patrol and manning the fortifications found in the area. It would have also provided water for many of the farmers to irrigate their fields and for their daily useage.
